Design Associates was established in 2005 by creative designers Brian O' Dowd and Paul Callanan. It took off running and in its first year in business worked with such high profile, national and international names as  NUI Galway and their suppliers, the Irish Primary Principals Network, Equal Ireland, GMIT and the Former Minister of State, Frank Fahey.

Both Brian and Paul came to the partnership with well established reputations for high-end design, as well as strong social networks. As word of their new venture spread, the Galway Arts Festival approached Design Associates to redesign their website. It was, of course a massive success!

Already well known as individuals within the industry, Design Associates, became the buzz word with festival organisers. Within weeks of opening their doors, the dynamic duo were working with 6 different festivals nationwide!

Since then Design Associates has grown from strength to strength with a portfolio encompassing every form of businees, in every type of industry, nationally and internationally. From letterheads, brochures and flyers: to catalogues and corporate identities. From T-shirt design: to radio advertisements. From basic web sites: to multilingual, engine-powered, database-driven web management systems. We've done it all!

Now in our 4th successful year in business, we are moving ever onward and upward. With the sleek and contemporary redesign of our 'cyber space', we are on the look for a physical space to boot. Until we find it, however, we are still well positioned in the heart of Galway at NUI Galway Business and Innovation Centre as your Design Associates.
